Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team in the Blackburn area. The position offers 9 hours per week. The work schedule will be discussed during the interview process, including the possibility of early morning and evening shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various cleaning duties in Housing blocks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting. Cleaning Toilets, canteen and offices.
- Sanitize restrooms and break rooms to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors to ensure a polished appearance.
- Vacuum carpets and rugs throughout designated areas.
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly to promote a hygienic environment.
- Restock supplies in restrooms and break rooms for continuous availability.
- Adhere to cleaning protocols and safety procedures at all times.
Skills:
- Preferred experience in commercial cleaning.
- Proficiency in handling cleaning chemicals and equipment effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to thorough task completion.
- Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team setting.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Physical endurance to engage in repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary.
