Jeweller Polisher/ CPR Technician
As a CPR Technician, you’ll be responsible for delivering one of our customer focused Clean, Polish and Rhodium plating (CPR) service as a key part of one of the UK’s largest single site Jewellery & Watch repair functions. A team player with an eagerness to learn, you’ll be responsible for the successful completion of allocated workload including the achievement of quality and efficiency service levels, all designed to offer the best customer service!
With a focus on quality and detail, the polishing of a customers repaired item can elevate any repair process and restore pieces back to their original beauty and the CPR role is right at the centre of this service
Typical duties:
- Under supervision from a BSC Team Leader, carry out a variety of polishing, refinishing, and plating tasks across a variety of jewellery items appropriate for assigned skillset
- Take personal accountability and responsibility for own and team achieving targets, KPI’s and objectives
- Able to achieve and maintain skill level as per skill definition
- Take personal accountability and responsibility for materials, and tools
- Manage your allocation of work maintaining adherence to agreed SLA’s
- Control and comply with all aspect of personal and customer product security in relation to leakage and damage
About you:
- Ability to take, pass and maintain essential knowledge associated with bench test requirements
- Good oral communication
- Willingness to undertake Jewellery qualifications (specific to each role) for example JET and Assay office training
- Willingness to undertake H&S/Legislative qualifications (specific to each role) for example IOSH, Risk Assessment, COSHH Lifting of boxes and/or files of weights less than 25 lbs.
- Attention to detail and delivering a consistent level of service
- Able to articulate challenges within the working environment in a positive and constructive manner to management and colleagues
- Adaptable, organised and can prioritise workload effectively
