The role of the Public Programme and Exhibitions Assistant Curator is to provide administrative support and curatorial input, working closely with the Public Programme and Exhibitions Curator to realise the range of activities within the AA Public Programme of events, exhibitions and special projects delivered over three terms, with a few additional events during the summer. The appointed candidate will report directly to the Public Programme and Exhibitions Curator and is tasked with organising, coordinating and developing important cultural content at the AA. This includes the annual end of year show Projects Review, our programme of evening and lunchtime lectures, a programme of exhibitions in the AA Gallery, Front Members’ Room and on the corner of Bedford Square, as well as other special projects; ensuring that all these activities are widely promoted and disseminated through printed and online materials. The role will work closely with several departments across the school including the Communications Studio, the Audio-Visual Department, Outreach, Membership, Estates & Facilities, Digital Platforms, Catering, Bookshop, Photo Library and Archives, Visiting School and the different academic units and programmes to involve them in the cultural life of the school.
