Summary


The Clinical Systems Applications Support Team is looking for an Applications Support Analyst to complement our existing team. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic team which provides 2ndline support for Cerner Millennium applications as well as downstream clinical systems across the Barts Health estate, as well as performing local configuration changes using Back Office tools in Cerner Millennium. The position will be to manage business as usual processes whilst adhering to local Trust policies and service level agreements.

This role requires a good level of technical troubleshooting skills, and a high quality approach to customer service. The job necessitates working with system end users as well as other teams within Clinical Systems and Informatics such as Integration, Data Warehouse and Business Information reporting. The candidate must be able prioritise their workload autonomously, and able to work to tight deadlines.

Use and understanding of Cerner Millennium is essential, as are written and verbal communication skills, whilst effective leadership qualities are desirable.

Responsible for supporting Cerner Millennium and other connected clinical systems. This includes the carrying out the tasks associated with the system administration and data integrity of all Trust Back Office Cerner Millennium configuration changes and ensuring that all Trust level changes are undertaken and synchronised across test and production
domains. Also includes support and troubleshooting of incidences relating to Cerner Millennium end user workflows.

Responsible for understanding the delivery of efficient and resilient processes for the full life-cycle of a Cerner Millennium system configuration change. Adherence to the Trust Back Office policies and procedures which underpin these processes.

Ensuring Trust compliance with required Incident, Change and Release management procedures.

Responsible for liaising with user departments and ICT teams to ensure appropriate turnaround times for system configuration changes and service support calls are met.

Responsible for supporting Cerner Millennium and connected applications deployment activities.
