Crynodeb
The new appointee will be fully involved in the day -to- day running of the advanced heart and lung failure strategies service half of the time and conventional services attached to a consultant the other half. It is envisaged this will be a shared post with another similar appointee alternating their assignments equally between the two services. Both appointees will be assigned to the same consultant. The post holder will be a member of cardiac surgery department in the tertiary services division of the University Hospital Birmingham NHS Trust based at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The successful candidate's line manager and supervisor will be Mr. A Ranasinghe, Director of Cardiopulmonary transplantation. Trust level management of CDG10 is Edwin Waters as the group general manager and Dr. M Hakkak as the associate director of operations.
