What skills and experience we're looking for

The Heys School wishes to appoint an enthusiastic cleaner to support the Principal Caretaker in ensuring and maintaining high quality hygiene standards across the school.

Hours: 19.5 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, full year

Split Shift - 7 am to 8:30am and then 15:00pm to 17:30pm (17pm on Friday)

Salary: Grade 3 Scale point 2 - £12,201.20 per annum (£23,151 FTE) - £12 per hour

You will:

• Undertake hygiene duties as directed by the Site Officer / Caretaker.
• Help ensure cleaning is of a consistently high standard.
• Become familiar with the operation and maintenance of cleaning and maintenance equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is kept in a clean and usable condition.
• Report any faults or breakdown in equipment to the Site Officer / Caretaker at the earliest convenience.
• Be responsible for safe operation of equipment, after initial training/demonstration, has been given.
