Crynodeb
Maintaining safety,tidiness and cleanliness ,presentation of showrooms ,display stands and warehouses.
Bringing in all deliveries of all our various products and shelving them upon specified places,ticketing and labelling those products and checking their condition on arrival at the premises and before their onward despatch from the premises. Delivery aids are available here to assist you.
Monitoring stock levels of regular consumables such as underlays,screeds,adhesives etc.
Maintaining the safety and tidiness of the on site skips and yard to the rear of the premises and disposing of returned waste materials in those skips ready for weekly collection.
Preparing and checking products are all ready and put out for the fitting teams at least the day prior to dispatch from the premises for the next morning.
Assisting with loading and unloading the various teams of installers vans each day.
Maintaining the presentation of the roll end warehouse and preparing roll ends for sale.
Answering telephone phones and taking messages on behalf of sales staff if and when required(mostly at busy times) and required engaging customers until another member of staff becomes available.
Measuring off cutting and labelling roll, stock carpets and vinyl flooring from rolls of stock once sold.
This list of duties is an outline and not exhaustive. Other duties will become apparent over time and there will also be some specific projects to undertake from time to time.
