Summary
As part of the force’s commitment to prioritising the health and wellbeing of our people, we are excited to announce a fixed term opportunity as a Force Gym Co-Ordinator within the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Unit.
This is a part time role working 18.5 hours per week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning and is located at Force Headquarters, Leicester.
The Occupational Health and Wellbeing Unit is dedicated to ensuring every staff member has access to the support necessary to thrive both professionally and personally. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and promotion of the force gyms.
Key Responsibilities
-Carry out gym inductions, supporting and guiding people with their personal wellbeing journey.
-Produce health and wellbeing material to display in the gyms along with facilitating monthly gym challenges.
-Maintain all relevant systems associated with the role including updating gym member records, maintaining asset lists, equipment servicing, monitoring fitness class attendance and complying with all elements of Health and Safety.
The must haves
-To be qualified as a Level 2 Gym Instructor.
-Experience of undertaking safe and effective gym inductions.
-Able to communicate confidently and effectivity both verbally and in writing.
