Role Overview
To role is to perform packing/assembly collation and stripping work as requested on your specific shift.
Packing parcels, various sizes
Perform collation work – leaflet packing, labels etc.
Appling self-adhesive/magnetic tape on printed materials.
Lifting parcels on pallets and shrinkwrapping
Setting up or assisting on glue operation and drilling
Motivating the team, highlighting any underperforming staff
Managing and monitor temporary staff
Label all work as instructed and send completed jobs to library/dispatch
Make sure staff recycle waste correctly
Notify Supervisor of RDC issues
Follow the QC process
Key Responsibilities
First POC for external drivers collecting goods to deliver.
Check goods against delivery notes for accuracy and report any damages.
Move goods to relevant area/departments using PPT/counterbalance.
Notify the relevant department via the delivery note of any short shipments/mis-picks.
Notify relevant department of any damaged goods received.
Maintain the pop bench area ensuring that it is kept tidy.
Any other reasonable request.
