Our client, a RCVS-accredited small animal practice located in the vibrant city of Nottingham, is seeking an experienced veterinary surgeon to step into a leadership role. Nottingham, known worldwide for the legend of Robin Hood, is a dynamic and creative city with a rich history and culture. Its castles, caves, and cultural attractions make it a fascinating place to explore.

In this role, you will not only lead the team but also work alongside them, taking on the responsibilities of a Lead Vet. Strong leadership and team development skills are essential. You will be joining an experienced and friendly team consisting of 3.5 Vets, 3 Nurses, 2 Veterinary Care Assistants, and 4 Receptionists. The practice, awarded silver status from the ISFM cat-friendly clinic, is well-equipped with the latest technology, including Ultrasound, an In-house laboratory, Digital X-ray, ECG, Ultrasonic Dental, Biochem, Microscope, and full surgical facilities.

Our client is looking for someone with good organisational skills, high motivation, and a commitment to best clinical practices. The ideal candidate will have strong surgical and consultation skills and be comfortable with sole charge on Saturday mornings. An approachable and consultative style is essential, as the team values the strong relationships they have built with their patients, clients, and the local community.
