Crynodeb
Our client based in Surrey is currently recruiting for a Capital Works Surveyor to join the team.
This is a full time, temporary, ongoing position offering £400 per day Umbrella LTD (Inside IR35).
The successful candidate will be responsible for the on-site monitoring, inspection, quality assurance, and compliance auditing of major housing capital contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake property and dwelling inspections
- Monitoring, inspection, QA & compliance auditing of major housing capital contracts - including kitchen & bathroom refurbishment, roof renewal programme, major voids
- Quality Assurance & Compliance Auditing
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all inspections, audits, and project activities.
- Produce detailed reports, including findings, recommendations, and compliance status.
Requirements:
- Degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
- Professional membership or qualification (e.g., RICS).
- Significant experience in building surveying, particularly in residential property.
- Proven track record in conducting on-site monitoring, inspections, and compliance auditing.
- Knowledge of relevant building regulations, standards, and codes of practice.
