Main Purpose of Role

If you are an excellent audio typist then this is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Evidential Summariser working within the File Preparation Unit, Crime & Justice Department, Mansfield.

The main function of the role is to succinctly summarise suspect interviews from audio recordings, victim interviews, 999 telephone calls and Body Worn Video and copy type handwritten witness statements, ensuring the content of all work is accurate and to a high standard for presentation at court by the Crown Prosecution Service.

Key Skills & Experience Required

The successful candidate will have excellent audio and copy typing skills demonstrating speed and accuracy and be self-motivated, flexible, and able to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision. We are looking for someone with experience in the operation of computerised word processing and database systems.
