Hairdressing Trainer
Apprenticeships
Permanent vacancy - 20 hours per week
£27,850 to £31,280 pro rata (£15,054 to £16,908 per annum)

As our new Hairdressing Trainer, you will be responsible for a caseload of up to 28 learners studying across Level 2 and Level 3 Apprenticeship standards in Hair. This includes Hairdressing Professional Level 2, Barbering Professional Level 2 and Advanced and Creative Hair Professional Level 3.

Main duties include:

• Conducting learner assessments within the workplace
• Delivering practical lessons to learners in a classroom setting
• Supporting apprentices on a 1:1 basis
• Assessing work via the Aptem e-portfolio system
• Working closely with employers to ensure that our apprentices get the best possible experience and achieve their career goals


This role would suit someone with previous experience working as a Trainer, Tutor or Assessor either within a college environment or private training provider, however this is not essential as training and support will be provided for the right candidate. A progressive knowledge base and skillset in the hairdressing industry is an essential requirement for this post.
