The NHS North West Leadership Academy is excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Marketing and Engagement Apprentice. This role is designed for someone eager to develop their marketing skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to the promotion of leadership and development opportunities within the NHS.

As a Marketing and Engagement Apprentice, you will play a supportive role in our marketing team, assisting in the creation and delivery of marketing campaigns, digital content, and events that align with our strategic objectives. You will have the chance to work on a variety of projects, providing valuable support in areas such as social media management, market research, and analytics reporting. This position is an excellent experiential opportunity to support personal and professional growth through a structured learning programme.

Interviews will take place on 29/08/2024.

· Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns.

· Provide assistance in managing our social media channels and website content, ensuring it is engaging and up-to-date.

· Assist in the organisation and promotion of events and workshops. Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and fliers.

· Support the marketing team with market research and analysis to inform strategy and decision-making.

· Engage in a programme of learning as part of the level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship, applying new skills and knowledge to your role.

Role and Responsibility:

• Support the development and implementation of marketing plans and campaigns.
• Provide assistance in managing our social media channels and website content, ensuring it is engaging and up-to-date.
• Assist in the organisation and promotion of events and workshops.
• Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and fliers.
• Support the marketing team with market research and analysis.
• Engage in a programme of learning as part of the level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship, applying new skills and knowledge to your role.

Personal Development

• Develop own skills and knowledge and provide information to others to help with their own development.

• To participate in personal objective settings and review, including a personal development plan.

• Ensure confidentiality is always maintained.

• Take every reasonable opportunity to maintain and improve professional knowledge.

Health and Safety

• The post holder must be responsible for all NWLA property and the reporting of all potential or actual breaches of security.
• To ensure the adoption of safe work practices consistent with Health and Safety. The post holder must not, by act or omission, willfully endanger themselves or others whilst at work. All accidents and untoward occurrences must be reported, and potential hazards identified.

Physical Effort

• Combination of sitting, standing and walking.
• Inputting on a keyboard.
• Occasions to exert moderate physical effort.

Mental Effort

• Concentration is required when completing tasks and dealing with people.
• Dealing with interruptions and competing demands from staff and work-related queries.
• Constant pressure to meet target deadlines.

Working Conditions

• Occasional exposure to unpleasant working conditions.
• Temperature of the office environment may fluctuate.

Emotional Effort

• Ability to cope with difficult or distressing situations and support staff during pastoral support.
