We are pleased to welcome applications for our Administration Manager role working within Medical Workforce.
This post would suit someone who has supervision or line management experience, is methodical, can effectively multi-task and enjoys managing projects and service improvement.
Customer service is a very important component of this role, as is having an eye for detail and continually looking for ways to improve the services we provide to our doctors.
The post is based at Trust HQ, with up to 2 days working from home a week.
To manage the administrative services affiliated to the Medical Workforce Team to include running our Medical Bank, our central junior doctor absence phone line, oversight and process management of of Consultant Extra Duty Payments (EDP) and oversight of various agency related national and internal reporting requirements.
Day to day management of the team (6 team members). The team is responsible for taking all absence calls from all tiers of junior doctors, undertaking the return to work interviews and logging the absence via e-timesheets. The team also onboard doctors to the Medical Bank; working with the Resourcing team to ensure all pre-employment checks are completed, along with completing all relevant paperwork for pay services.
The role involves undertaking internal audits and SOP reviews to ensure our processes are as efficient as possible. There is plenty of opportunity for service improvement, working as a team.
