As an Application Support Apprentice, you will be immersed in a dynamic and supportive environment where innovation thrives. You will have the chance to work on real-world projects, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to cutting-edge solutions.

You will be the first point of contact for any technical issues or questions related to the use and functionality of all Data & Analytics tools including Mozaic and Data Labs. You will troubleshoot issues, resolves queries, triage for further investigation and provide support on Power BI features and functionalities. The support analyst will also collaborate to design, develop, and maintain Power BI solutions that meet the business needs and objectives of the organization.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Mitie team. The apprenticeship is over 24 months, you will be required to build a portfolio and take an end point assessment as part of the course. Application Support Lead apprenticeship.

What you'll be doingProvide timely and effective technical support and guidance to Data & Analytics tools users, via phone, email, chat, or remote access.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, such as data refresh, performance, security, and connectivity.

Document and escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate team.

Create and update knowledge base articles, FAQs, and user guides on features and functionalities.

Support the development and maintenance of procedures, process flows and technical documentation.

Collaborate with system analysts and developers to design, develop, and maintain solutions that meet the business requirements and specifications.

Support the continual improvement process for Mozaic and assist with new /change releases.

Collaborate with other teams to ensure the quality and accuracy of the data and the solutions delivered.

Contribute to the delivery of training sessions across all Data & Analytics tools.

Test and validate solutions to ensure their quality and accuracy.

Monitor and report on usage, performance, and feedback.

Stay updated on the latest data & analytics developments and trends and share insights and recommendations with the team.

What we're looking for
-Knowledge of a data visualization and analytics tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Excel, is a plus.

-Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and stakeholders.

-Strong organisational and time management skills.

-A keen interest in data analysis and reporting.
