A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Security Manager who will develop and lead operational excellence and best practice; optimising our service and value offering to customers to achieve performance targets. You will bring innovation and leadership and ensure a high-performance culture within your remit. This is an active and visible role requiring strong leadership competence in addition to entrepreneurial ability. Client interaction is significant and excellent relationship management skills are required.


Crown Estate - 10 New Burlington Street is a layered reinvention of an urban block in central London which has been redeveloped to offer 172,000ft² of high-quality office and retail accommodation. It features new retail space at basement, ground and part first floor below optimised office floorplates totalling 95,000 square feet across six floors.

Job Requirements:



SIA Licence required
Experience as a Security Team Leader/Supervisor is required
Ability to organise and motivate team to guarantee optimum performance
Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Leadership and ability to follow plans through to completion
Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including report writing.
Can do attitude, punctual, calm under pressure, can work as a team, professional and focused.
Maintain effective communication, both verbal and written, with the customer, always ensuring the customer is aware of all operational developments.
Maintain high level of discipline, this includes excellent appearance, excellent timekeeping, excellent attendance and professional conduct at all times.
Have excellent telephone manners and face-to-face customer care duties.





Job Responsibilities:



Liaise and maintain good customer service relationships with site staff, visitors, customers, and management team. To manage an effective working relationship with all, whilst representing the site and CIS-Security.
Effectively manage and lead On Site Security Operations ensuring that Officers are always working in line with Site Policies and Procedures.
Planning and organising daily/shift rotations and activities.
Taking ownership of the training, development and welfare of Security Officers and Supervisors.
Assist in the management and maintenance of the CCTV and access control systems, ensuring that the correct documentation and SOPs are followed, and audit trails are maintained.
Act as the first line of management and respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations and assisting with fire evacuation procedures.
Act with integrity and professionalism at all times.
Able to work as part of a team to deliver the best possible level of service and to contribute with any level of ideas that may improve the level of service.
Working closely with other service providers and the local community including the police.
Report writing following security investigations - Report and maintain a written record of all faults / incidents.
Provide a safe and secure working environment for all customers, visitors and contractors working on or visiting site.
Any other duties deemed reasonable for this role.
