Fawkes and Reece are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team based in Derby to work on a flagship project worth circa £60m in value. They are a Leading Tier 1 Contractor who work on projects for both public and private sector clients on schemes up to £200m in value across a variety of sectors including but not limited to, commercial, mixed-use, education, healthcare, leisure, industrial and student accommodation.
About the Senior Quantity Surveyor role
Due to securing an exciting pipeline of projects our client is now looking to expand their team with the addition of a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work within their major projects division.
This role would suit a Senior Quantity Surveyor who has experience leading high value schemes in excess of £30m and will have ideally worked on High -Rise / Luxury Residential schemes.

Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor role
- Commercial management of a projects in excess of £20m in value.
- Cost reporting
- Procurement of sub contract packages
- Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedure.
- Preparing plans, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor role
- Experience working for a Tier 1 or leading main contractor
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
- Experience with NEC and JCT projects
- Degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred but not essential
- UK Driving License.

Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 DOE - will pay more for exceptional candidates
