Home based role Help strengthen and lead our Team as our Senior Project Manager working on delivering Infrastructure projects. Home based role.
A great opportunity to join our team as our Senior Project Manager to be responsible for the successful delivery of a complex infrastructure project or multiple projects, ensuring the appropriate level of governance is followed as well as mentoring our project team.
You'll be managing mostly cor infrastructure projects including cloud technologies.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects and ensuring that realistic project, quality, change control and risk management processes are maintained
- Monitoring and controlling resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget and manages expectations of all project stakeholders
- Taking responsibility for review of management processes (and decisions) to ensure that they are compliant with the organisation's strategy for corporate information governance
- Taking full responsibility for the definition, documentation and satisfactory completion of small to medium-scale projects
- Identifying, assessing and managing risks to the success of the project
- Providing effective leadership to the project team, and takes appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances
What we're looking for:
- Broadly skilled in information technology including application and infrastructure environments.
- Strong leadership skills and experience of mentoring project staff
- Experience of deployment of resources, including re-assessment and reallocation in a dynamic multi-project environment, to achieve optimum results
- A comprehensive knowledge of relevant development lifecycles including traditional waterfall and agile methods
- Proven and demonstrable experience of project delivery in a similar environment
- Practitioner certificate in PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification
- Strong understanding of principles, methods, techniques, and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to implementation
- Experience of methods and techniques for reporting progress and financial compliance against an agreed plan
- ITIL Service Management qualification is desirable
- Ideally have exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS and/or Azure
- Has strong planning, communication and presentation skills, the capability to listen and influence, and is proficient in project quality management.
- Effective and persuasive in both written and oral communications.
