We can now offer a vacancy for a Dermatology Rota Co-ordinator, Band 3 for 26 hours per week to work at Salford Royal Hospital which is part of the Northern Care Alliance. The post is fixed term for 12 months.
To provide an efficient and high quality service to meet the requirements of the Care Organisation and to support achieving its key access targets. To manage and co-ordinate clinic cancellations, backfill activity, re-align activity to areas of consultant supervision. To work in conjunction with the Dermatology Trainee lead to organise rota changes and backfill activity.
The post holder will be expected to liaise with senior clinical staff and outpatient nursing staff .
You will lead by example, by maintaining a high level of professionalism and respect at all times. You will demonstrate an excellent customer service manner through all channels of communication.
Ensuring full utilisation of both outpatient clinics and theatre sessions where applicable.
Ensure appointment bookings are maintained using the Care Organisation’s data Patient Tracking list (PTL)/PIVOT to monitor waiting times and within the parameters of the clinic schedules and that any potential booking difficulties are dealt with appropriately.
Adhering to the Booking rules and work instructions.
To ensure that appropriate confirmation letters are sent to patients with information regarding their appointment time, date and location and include any relevant preparation that may be required.
Be responsible for ensuring the effective use of slot types and ensure that lists are full and that they are in order of patient’s medical requirements and in accordance with the Care Organisation Policy.
Update 18 week information as required using the Patient Pathway Plus function and ensure that patients are seen in accordance with agreed targets.
Maintain high standards of data quality in all aspects of the role.
Undertake any other duties as requested by your Line Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Department.
