The Opportunity
The School of Allied Health Professions at Keele University are expanding their Occupational Therapy programme portfolio and seeking a creative, enthusiastic experienced Occupational Therapy (OT) Lecturer to join the team, initially on a 1 year fixed term contract. The post-holder will join a dedicated group of Occupational Therapy and other AHP academic staff in the growing School of Allied Health Professions (SAHP). The post-holder's scholarship activities will complement our existing AHP provision and expertise.

The successful candidate will play a key supporting role developing and delivering the portfolio of pre-registration Occupational Therapy programmes, which will include a level 6 apprenticeship, BSc and MSc pre-registration programme. The post holder will be able to demonstrate a track record of contributing to the development of the occupational therapy services and have experience of teaching undergraduate and / or postgraduate AHP students.

Evolving AHP and Faculty resources include: excellent occupational therapy simulation facilities including an ADL suite, workshop and sensory room, bespoke health simulation area’s including ward environments and two “health houses” with live screening facilities. SAHP students enjoy interprofessional educational learning opportunities with other Faculty students including nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, paramedics etc.
