Summary

This post is fixed term until 31 July 2025, working for 9 hours per week.

Working with The Head of Mediation and Wellbeing and colleagues, the postholder will resolve conflict and build knowledge in conflict resolution internally and externally.

The Mediator will be a qualified Mediator, having registered with Scottish Mediation, or have the necessary prerequisites and willingness to do so immediately upon appointment.

They will be a strong team player, working together to deliver a range of courses including a Scottish Mediation accredited training course in Mediation and in shorter mediation/conflict resolution courses internally and externally.

They will co-monitor and respond appropriately to emails within the Mediation@ email, and any other shared email accounts for which the team is responsible.

They will support newly trained mediators as requested by the Head of Mediation and Wellbeing.

They will contribute, assist, and support other work related to the University Mediation and Wellbeing agenda as required.

This post will be primarily based at home although in person work will at times be required at the University of St Andrews including the Eden Campus at Guardbridge, a state-of-the-art working environment for professional services units.
