The Role and Department

This role is based in the Organisation Development (OD) team who are responsible for ensuring that leaders, teams, and individuals are provided with the opportunities and resources to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.
The purposes of the role are to provide effective, efficient and timely administrative support to the OD team; helping to ensure that the right people are in the right place and the right time; providing the first point of contact for enquiries about development, learning and organisation development and triaging the enquiry to the appropriate person. The over-riding purpose is to provide focussed administrative support to enable the team to function at its highest level. This role works hybridly.
From early 2025 the base location for this role will change from our Durham City Centre site to our exciting new professional services hub based at Boldon House. Boldon House is situated on the outskirts of Durham near the Arnison Centre in Pity Me. Boldon House will bring a number of professional services teams together in a vibrant office environment which supports collaborative working and is designed to embrace hybrid working.
