Are you a tennis enthusiast with a passion for inspiring and developing talent? Do you excel in creating engaging coaching experiences and driving player improvement? Join us as a Head Tennis Coach at Craiglockhart Tennis & Leisure Centre.



You will be responsible for:

- Assisting the Tennis Development Officer in coordinating and delivering the coach-led tennis programme.

- Supervising, mentoring, and motivating the team by setting a positive example, monitoring their performance, and providing feedback and support to ensure classes are delivered with enthusiasm and engagement.

- Providing high-quality tennis lessons to children and adults, ensuring a fun and developmental experience.

- Ensuring excellent customer service by interacting positively with customers, and handling enquiries and complaints in a calm and professional manner.

- Taking responsibility for health and safety, ensuring the coaching area and equipment are clean, tidy, and safe, and complying with Edinburgh Leisure's policies.



We are looking for friendly, positive, and charismatic individuals who have:

- Previous experience in delivering engaging tennis lessons and coaching to children and adults. LTA coach qualification at UKCC level 3 or above, and an up-to-date LTA licence.

- Proven ability to lead by example and motivate team members.

- Ability to engage and connect with a varied customer base.

- Warm and welcoming personality topped with enthusiasm, passion, and commitment.

- Ability to inspire, coach, and develop diverse groups of people of differing abilities, stages, and ages.
