Crynodeb
Maintain cleanliness, security, and a welcoming atmosphere at Greenwood Community Centre. Tasks include cleaning, event setup, minor maintenance, and ensuring safety.
Option 1
Core Hours: Monday: 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM and/or
Wednesday: 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and/or
Thursday: 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM
Opportunity for additional hours and cover may arise as desired/required
Option 2
Caretaking Bank Staff, casual caretaking hours offered on an ad hoc basis, predominantly evening and weekend hours.
Duties
General Cleaning:
• Keep the centre clean and tidy as per schedule..
Centre Activities Setup:
• Set up and take down furniture/equipment for activities and events.
• Move furniture and equipment.
• Inform the senior caretaker of any booking changes.
Security and Access:
• Open and close the building.
• Manage visitor access.
Customer Service:
• Help visitors and handle issues politely.
• Assist with enquiries and guide contractors.
Maintenance Tasks:
• Perform minor repairs (basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating).
• Check and maintain equipment, report problems.
Health & Safety:
• Report safety concerns and follow safety regulations.
• Know the fire evacuation procedure.
General:
• Accept and store deliveries.
• Keep supplies stocked and records updated.
• Refill consumable items like soap and toilet paper.
• Follow H&HHVC Policies & Procedures including our Equal Opportunities., Safeguarding, Health and Safety and Confidentiality policies and procedures.
