Position – Floor Manager

Reporting into – Restaurant Manager

Tucked away in the beautiful village of Egham, Fairmont Windsor Park Hotel are searching for a Floor Manager to join their growing team.

As a Floor Manager, you will assist the Restaurant Manager to ensure a smooth and effective running of the Food & Beverage operations within the restaurant.

Motivating the junior team and maximising the guest satisfaction through a high standard of restaurant operations is pivotal for success.

Also, being passionate about delivering a well organised and high-level of customer service is mandatory and will be shown through you results-driven efforts.

Summary of daily tasks & responsibilities

  • Supporting the Restaurant Manager in planning and managing the day-to-day operations.
  • Training and develop all team members to the Fairmont Windsor Park service standards.
  • Monitoring work schedules and annual vacation plans.
  • Improving all guest service and guest recognition programs such as Trust You.
  • Conducting and lead daily briefings with the restaurant team.
  • Promote and follow a safe work environment.
  • Remaining responsive to ad-hoc duties.

Job qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in Food and Beverage operations
  • Previous Food and Beverage experience in a 5-star luxury environment is preferred.
  • HACCP Level 3 is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skill.
  • Computer literate & excellent knowledge of Opera, Simphony and MICROS is an asset.
  • Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
