Ward Security is on the lookout for a Dedicated Contract Support Officer, who will work at our client’s premises at 78 Cannon Place, the business centre located next to Cannon Street, and a three-minute walk from Mansion House, Bank and Monument stations, providing easy access to the London Underground.

The ideal candidate will possess the skills to deliver an effective and efficient service to the client.


Position: Dedicated Contract Support Officer
Pay rate: £13.26 per hour
Shift Pattern: Guaranteed hours -Various- Days Nights Weekends
Location: 78 Cannon Place London EC4N 6HL

Must have:
• Valid SIA licence
• Proven work experience as a Security Guard or relevant position
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• IT literate- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment

Duties:

• Report any issues to the supervisor or duty manager
• Ensure all instructions, both written and verbal are adhered to
• Guard access points, permitting or refusing entry, restraining trespassers
• Conduct foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the client’s property and assets.
• Investigate and take the appropriate lawfully action as authorized by the corporate policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety and fire incidents
• Complete daily reports, including relevant information, observations, surveillance footage, and signatures
• Carry out ID checks
• Be vigilant to the Health and Safety risks
• Excellent communication skills to all levels – verbally, written, phone and by security radio’s
• Work effectively as part of a team or can work on own initiative
• A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges
