About the Role
The role will provide support to the Estates Technical Managers and will help ensure compliance documents are accurate, complete, and uploaded into the university’s CAFM systems in a timely manner. It will also provide for the monitoring contractors’ and the in-house maintenance team’s performance against established targets.

You will co-ordinate contractors’ presence on site, planning and allocation of works using the Computer Aided Facility Management system (CAFM) and will also ensure minimum disruption to the university’s day to day operations and compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.

Your main duties/responsibilities will be:

To line manage develop, support, and motivate Helpdesk staff to ensure that excellent customer service is fully embedded into all aspects of service delivery.
Encourage and role-model core competencies and behaviours within the Helpdesk Team that promote customer services excellence and a culture of teamwork, promoting staff inclusion, empowerment, and ownership.
Support the Estates Technical Managers with all aspects of contract administration and performance management, including monitoring financial commitments, statutory compliance status and system housekeeping.
