Band 5 Scrub Practitioners –General surgery Theatre Team
• We are looking for enthusiastic staff to come and join our general surgery theatre team at St Georges.
• We are interested in hearing from staff from diverse range of perioperative experience who are looking to develop their career in General surgery including robotic surgery perioperative service..
• We are likewise equally happy to support and facilitate the training of the individuals who are keen to learn.
• We have 33 operating theatres between St George's and Queen Mary's Hospitals . Our staff work in teams and we are committed to keeping our focus on givingOutstanding Care, Every Timeto our patients.
The main duties of this job role include:
• Setting, monitoring and maintaining excellent standards of nursing care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.
• Ensuring that nursing procedures are carried out in accordance to Trust's polices
• As skills and competencies develop, taking charge and actively participating in and contributing to the management of the theatre area or on a regular basis.
• Supervising and mentoring junior staff.
• Working to support General surgery and plastic surgery services .
