Summary

Protecting our Military operations

We are currently hiring firefighters to help deliver and support critical services. What you'll be doing:

We are looking for firefighters to help deliver focused prevention and protection activities. Through targeted fire safety campaigns, you will enhance public awareness of fire risks and emergency procedures. Additionally, you will be part of a skilled and professional emergency response team, addressing various incidents to minimize their impact and swiftly restore normalcy.

You will be required to attend training Monday-Friday at the Fire Service College in Moreton in Marsh for 14 weeks commencing 4th November 2024. All training costs will be covered.

You will:

• Have the right to work in the UK
• Be required to undertake checks and references to gain Security Clearance
• Have a good standard of physical fitness, which will be tested during the recruitment phase (Bleep Test - minimum of level 8.8 required, ladder and confined space drills)
• Have and maintain high standards, whilst demonstrating good teamwork and strong communication skills
• Work well under pressure and in challenging scenarios
• Be prepared to undertake and pass academic assessments (English and/or Maths) and Situational and Behavioural tests during the recruitment phase.
