We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in the position of Senior Product Manager.

The Senior Product Manager will play a pivotal role in the management & strategic development of Forterra’s product portfolio.

The Senior Product Manager has ultimate responsibility for the product. Their key responsibilities will include ownership of the product’s strategy, developing and maintaining the product roadmap, and conveying the roadmap to the development team to ensure they build the product according to plan.

In addition, the Senior Product Manager, supported by their team, will be responsible for the development of marketing strategies and campaigns (in collaboration with the marketing communications team) which target relevant market segments and decision makers.

Working in partnership with the Marketing Director, creation of product roadmaps of each of Forterra’s product categories.

Capture market feedback & insights to identify key areas of opportunity / need for improvement within the product portfolio. Develop the NPD funnel & manage the NPD process, working closely with all internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of plans & allocation of resources.

Development & execution of a 5 year product roadmap aligned with Forterra’s strategic priorities

Development & execution of the annual product marketing plan including annualised product range review & new product launches - aligned with the wider business goals & priorities.

Working in collaboration with the marketing communications team, development of marketing communications plans for each product category to reach target market segments & decision makers.

Your duties would include but not limited to the following:

Have at least 5 years experience working in a product management / product marketing role within a B2B environment (ideally within the construction industry)
A successful track record of working in cross-functional environments in the development & commercialisation of new products / services
Strong project management skills are essential (ideally with a relevant project management qualification e.g. Prince2)
Strong analytical skills, ability to identify a problem, investigate to find out relevant facts, and find a logical solution.
Managerial experience desirable
Essential: Degree qualified preferably in a technical / science-based subject

Desirable: Project management qualification (eg Prince2 or similar)

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and MS teams
