Salary: £18.35 per hour + Benefits!
Contract & Hours: Full time, Permanent, Monday to Thursday: 0730 to 1600 and Friday: 0730 to 1230

Relay is a specialist engineering company operating in the marine, defence, oil and gas.
We are looking to recruit an Electrical Fitter to join the team at our Portsmouth facility.
We are an engineering company providing bespoke products and installations for Royal Naval Vessels and carry out works on Naval Base infrastructure.
We wish to recruit permanent Electrical Fitters to join our installation team to provide support and assistance to the site supervisor/foreman on these projects. This role will involve working on various vessels and sites.
The role is primarily based in Portsmouth; however, you may be required to travel within the UK and abroad.
Compliance with legislation/ regulation, standards, customer specifications, HSEQ policies and procedures (including Risk Assessments and Method Statements) is essential.
You will also be expected to comply with our management systems processes to ensure accurate and auditable project documentation.
In order to be successful in this role you should have:
- 3 years' experience in a similar Electrical role.
- The ability to interpret and work to drawings, system diagrams, written descriptions and instructions.
- A recognised qualified trade, training and qualifications applicable to an electrician/electrical fitter or technician -previous site/installations experience
- Flexibility with regards to working overtime and travel
- Experience of working on sites where CDM Regulations apply and/or experience of working in marine environment is desirable but not essential
Please note: due to the location of our Portsmouth business unit, and sites we access, you will need to go through a security clearance process. Site specific training for restricted areas will be provided.
