We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Insight Specialist in the Strategic Planning & Insight team (part of the wider Strategy, Place & Insight Team).

Our team provides a central business intelligence function supporting colleagues across the Karbon Group to achieve the strategic aims set out in our Stronger Foundations Strategy. This important work involves providing high quality business planning, performance management and research and insight services.

About the role

Working in a small and friendly team - passionate about providing an excellent service to our colleagues - you’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of

high quality insight for the business. This includes customer insight, segmentation analysis and deep dive investigative projects to continuously improve our services and support service improvement. You will help the business in understanding the current and future needs and expectations of customers across our services.

This will be evidenced through the provision of excellent data analysis, monitoring and evaluation capabilities. There will also be plenty of opportunities to get involved in a variety of projects to identify and present key insights that inform data driven business decisions.

About you

As a critical member of our team, you will be a customer focused, enthusiastic and well-organised colleague, committed to providing the highest possible standard of service to the organisation.

You will have great attention to detail and be committed to continuously developing and delivering high quality output. You will be a confident communicator demonstrating excellent analytical and data skills in order to present information and findings in innovative and creative ways tailored to a range of audiences, including through the use of Power BI.

You will look to understand the why behind our customer data, using a variety of analytical approaches, to identify key trends and insights for the organisation to use.

The successful candidate will work in the Strategic Planning & Insight team, led by the Strategic Planning & Insight Manager, Kari Best.
