We have an exciting opportunity for a Living Laboratory Research Regulation & Compliance Officer to join the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences (MVLS).
To fulfil the Living Laboratory’s obligations under the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research, the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations, the UK data regulations, the Human Tissue Act and other relevant requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for the supporting, implementing and monitoring the governance structures related to clinical research within the Living Laboratory to ensure that all clinical research fits seamlessly with procedures developed through the University’s Research Regulation and Compliance team.
The postholder will serve as the Living Laboratory point of contact for research staff and students, senior management and the wider research community, providing guidance and information in relation to research involving humans, their tissue or data.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and is fixed term for up to 12 months in the first instance.
