Calling all High Intensity CBT and EMDR Therapists.

Our highly regarded Steps to Wellbeing services are recruiting for a New Role in our recently piloted Flourish service - part of the new Complex Trauma Pathway.

We are looking for people to bring energy, enthusiasm, and a high level of skills and experience. We are recruiting to Poole, North Dorset – Blandford, Sherborne and Shaftesbury, and Weymouth and Portland. There are several roles available with the flexibility to work full or part time and across areas.

The Steps 2 Wellbeing service prides itself on being innovative and passionate, the Flourish concept is a shining example of this. What is Flourish? A PTSD/Trauma pathway for patients who require more complex psychological interventions than previously available.

Patients on the Flourish Pilot reported their treatment has changed their lives and in some instances cited it had saved their life. 100% of patients in the pilot agreed they were able to manage their emotions and look forward to a more positive future. We promote opportunities for career development and ongoing professional development including training in Long Term Health Conditions and other modalities of treatment such as EMDR, Mindfulness, and RO-DBT.

You will provide one to one high intensity CBT or EMDR, alongside stabilisation and collaboration with Peer Specialists to provide the Flourish care model for adults with symptoms of PTSD and C-PTSD.

Good administrative, time management and communication skills are also essential. Experience of working within the NHS or similar organisation is highly desirable.
