This is an exciting role within the Oldham Care Organisation. You will be an integral part of the Emergency Department at the Royal Oldham Hospital working alongside an experienced team of Consultants and junior medical staff.
The role involves working collaboratively with ACP's, clinical pharmacologists, nursing staff and the therapy team.
As a senior member of the department team you will support and supervise more junior medical staff within the Emergency Department. You will provide advice and review patients as required to support both high quality patient care and education of the juniors. You will supervise the junior medical staff’s performance of procedures appropriate to their level of experience. You will build good relations with clinicians of all specialities referring appropriate patients to speciality teams within the hospital or for follow up in primary or secondary care.
