Crynodeb
Following the forthcoming retirement of the current post holder, we are looking for a Pool Plant Supervisor to join our Health and Fitness team at Chatsworth.
The Chatsworth Health Club includes a gymnasium, swimming pool and tennis court, and offers exclusive facilities to its members.
Duties include testing of the pool water to ensure safety of bathers, management of the plant room which includes filling the day tank and daily filtration operations, brushing, and vacuuming the pool, cleaning the tiles, backwashing and cleaning of our new poolside floor in addition to general maintenance duties.
A PWTAG Accredited Pool Plant Operator certificate would be an advantage but is not essential. If uncertified, the successful candidate will be required to achieve the certificate over a 3-day training course in September 2024 which will take place in Sheffield. However, you must have previous experience with pool plant operations.
It is anticipated that there will be a hand-over period for the successful candidate providing a unique opportunity to learn the requirements of the role.
Hours offered will be 10 per week, ideally 6.30am to 8.30am four days a week, plus one evening 7pm to 9pm. We can be flexible to meet the needs of the successful applicant, however, you must be adaptable and ready to work flexibly to ensure smooth running of the business.
In return
As part of the wider Devonshire Group, owned by the Duke of Devonshire, which includes Chatsworth, Bolton Abbey, Lismore and the Devonshire Hotels & Restaurants Group, we pride ourselves on our commitment to building friendly and efficient teams who are focused on delivering exceptional customer service.
