Summary

Transaction Manager

Morgan Hunt is working with a Housing Association in Southwest London who are looking at recruiting a Transaction Manager. This is a 6 month contract role paying up to £24 p/hour and will offer hybrid working - 2 office days p/week.

Key Responsibilities of the Transaction Manager:

  • Oversee client bank and rent account transactions, ensuring accurate ledger management and reconciliation.
  • Produce management accounts, budgets, and rent increases, and prepare year-end schedules for audits.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the team, ensuring performance, compliance, and stellar service delivery.
  • Resolve issues, manage complaints, and enhance customer experience through expert knowledge and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate rent ledgers, allocate payments correctly, and manage Direct Debits and rent payment systems.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices and supplier payments through BACS runs and close monitoring.

Previous Skills and Experience of the Transaction Manager:

  • Minimum AAT Qualified.
  • Financial and management accounting systems, principles, and practice, in a supervisory or leadership role working in social housing.
  • Driving change using IT systems to improve efficiency.
  • Using accounting and rent ledger systems.
