David Bailey Furniture Systems are an established manufacturer of specialist healthcare and hospital fitted furniture, based in Broadstairs, Thanet, Kent.
Do you want to help develop the NHS, a national treasure, if yes, then this is the perfect opportunity for you to do your bit!
In this role you would be responsible for:
1. Estimating – Preparing quotations on the estimating package, printed bills of quantities or on Excel. Researching specialist and bought in items / products, liaising with production on special furniture, designing and or interpreting furniture layouts. Sending out enquiries for pricing for bought in items including extracting and collating the information from the tender documents.
2. Problem solving – liaising with the contractors, clients, fellow colleagues and architects to be able to prepare their quotations.
3. Email Quotations – Preparing quotations by email, usually only for a few items and low value.
4. Revisions – Revising existing quotations in line with the latest information on either David Bailey Furniture System system or Bill of Quantities.
5. General Telephone / Email Enquiries / (Customer services). If required, answering incoming telephone calls
6. Emails – Check and respond to emails daily including quotations and printing off new enquiries.
7. Estimating Database – Maintaining a database of all quotations prepared including job no, project name, department, date quote received and outgoing date, contractor information.
