Meeting & Events Host
Competitive plus great benefitsSofitel London Heathrow are looking for a new Meeting and Events Host to join their Meeting and Events Team on a full-time basis.
For someone looking to build their experience in major / luxury events, this is a great place to begin.
The meeting and Events Host is the first employee to interact with arriving guests, as they enter the Events space. It is the job of the host to greet arriving guests and welcome them into the conference centre.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests as they arrive
- Escort guests to their meeting rooms
- Provide advice and assistance to delegates and organisers when needed
- Present guests with a welcome pack
- Take catering orders if required
- Prepare daily signage both digital and paper
- Create labels for all catering when required
- Create daily sheets for all departments and for the operations team
- To obtain signatures and payment from guests when required
- Post any additional charges to Opera
- Calculate and manage agency timesheets
- Answer customers questions accurately
- Communicate clearly between the sales team and the operations team on all relevant information.
- Following all company Health and Safety guidelines
