Libraries and Museums are seeking a Programme Assistant to support the planning and delivery of a wide range of imaginative public engagement activity with diverse audiences, including students, school groups, families.

The postholder will work with the Learning and Engagement team to assist with the administration, planning and delivery of a busy summer events programme, create engagement resources, contribute to evaluation and monitoring planning and will support with marketing and publicity.

Alongside this, the postholder will play a regular role within the Visitor Services Team, assisting with day-to-day visits to museum venues and ensuring the security and safety of museum buildings.

This is a recurring 12-week post from mid-June to mid-September each year.
