Job Title: Warehouse Agent Responsible to: Operations Manager Division / Line of Business: Warehouse Location: London Gatwick Airport

MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE

Moving loads and freight to meet customer requirements, whilst following all security and safety regulations. Working in a time sensitive environment, dealing with multiple customers and meeting deadlines. The person must have effective communication skills and perform security tasks as required by CAA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load and off-load freight from and onto vehicles. • Place and retrieve freight in and from storage areas. • Build cargo for aircraft units to airline specifications. • Forklift truck driving. • Use approved screening methods to make cargo secure following strict aviation security regulations. • Comply with the company’s Health and Safety Policy and to be fully aware and adhere to the responsibilities as outlined in the policy. • Complete documentation to record details and movement of freight, mail, and equipment. • Provide a high standard of service to Customers, Airline Representatives and Officials. • Liaise between Operations and the Customer with any queries or Operational requirements. • Complete necessary checks on Imports/Exports to ensure company and Customer requirements are being met. • Complete reports required by the company and customers. • Maintain the highest standards of safety and security. • Carry out other tasks deemed necessary and reasonable by the company. This is not an exhaustive list and you may be required to complete other reasonable tasks as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Flexibility to work on various shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays). • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Work as part of a team. • Hold a full driving license. • Computer literacy skills. • Forklift experience is desirable. • The role involves lifting heavy goods so must be fit and able to lift up to 32kg. • 5-year full working history and eligibility to work in the UK, for referencing and CRC (Criminal Record Checks) vetting.

SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES

• In any role at WFS, employees are the eyes and ears of the business and must report any security concerns or suspicious behaviour. • Ensure site access control is protected and no unescorted visitors are on site. • Ensure the security integrity of cargo is always protected. • Ensure all security documentation is full compliant.
