Kitchen Assistant

Boundary Outlet has a vibrant and busy coffee shop. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional food and excellent customer service. We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic team and contribute to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to the menu.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and managing waste.
- Ensure that all food is stored properly and kitchen hygiene standards are adhered to.
- Help with basic food prep tasks such as chopping, preparing ingredients, and plating dishes.
- Support the kitchen staff in various tasks to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
