Crynodeb
The post holders must have EHRB or CIEH registration. The post holders will be working a busy Housing team dealing with all aspects of the Environmental Health Housing.
The team covers single households, empty properties, licensing of houses in multiple occupation, providing expert opnion and advice to other departments, represenating the authority as an expert withness in court cases relating to housing and responding to service requests.This will include carrying out inspection under the Housing Health and Safety Rating System and taking the necessary actions including serving statutory notices, civil penalties and gathering evidence to prosecute for non-compliance with legislation.
All applicants must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
The posts will be based in Hull City centre and there will be some home working.
