Crynodeb

This role is part of the Investment Learning Team. We work with an external partner and colleagues across the directorate to design and manage a broad learning and development (L&D) programme for the department’s investment staff in the UK and around the world.

You’ll be joining an engaged, welcoming and motivated team. We have a strong focus on creating a positive working environment and actively promote L&D within the team.

We are redesigning our core investment L&D programme, the Investment Academy, so that it better supports the achievement of the department’s long-term investment goals. As an Investment Learning Consultant, you’ll be designing, and managing the production of, practical, high-quality learning for frontline colleagues, thereby helping the department achieve its investment objectives.

You’ll also contribute to the smooth running of the Investment Academy by managing communications, ensuring trainer quality and devising and implementing a continuous improvement strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the end-to-end learning content development process to produce investment learning products to deadlines
  • Working with our digital learning designer, subject matter experts and external delivery partner as part of the content development process to develop learning content including tutor-led courses, elearning and job aids
  • Owning the Investment Academy communications plan, including designing comms products and holding our external partner to account for comms delivery
  • Managing the Investment Academy trainer pool, including devising and implementing a quality control programme
  • Analysing learner feedback, attendance, test results and other data (through surveys, focus groups and interviews) and taking appropriate action for continuous improvement
  • Inputting into strategic decisions regarding the team’s overall investment L&D offer and deputise for the G7 as appropriate
  • Occasionally managing and delivering in-person learning events
