Crynodeb
The Specialist Developer will support the continued development and maintenance of the Trust’s central data warehouse and the Trusts’ corporate web development tools. This will include requirements gathering, designing and developing appropriate solutions using the most appropriate technology.
The post holder will report to the Data Warehouse Manager and work alongside other developers to ensure that each of our Information systems meets a range of requirements:
Supports statutory, contractual and internal reporting requirements
Supports all management information reporting solutions
Supports corporate departments in their reporting and analysis
Supports operational teams to understand their data quality and their
performance
Developed to be a critical system with minimal down time
Support workflows and enable efficiency
To be responsible for the continued development and maintenance of the
central data warehouse ensuring that this is aligned to the business
requirements of the Trust and that the data feeds and data architecture
supports these. Using recognised methodologies for development (such as
Kimble).
To be responsible for all sharepoint or web development tools developed and
managed by the Team ensuring that these are aligned to the business
requirements of the Trust.
Lead on providing a complete end to end service for all types of
developments. This will include acting in a consultancy manner with staff
within the Trust to establish clear requirements through to development,
testing, implementation and maintenance.
Lead development of the data quality tools that will support the data quality
framework; providing managers with solutions that will help them monitor and comply with standards.
Provide specialist advice to staff on data warehouse, SQL development web development, data analysis and reporting,
To ensure all development outputs are well designed, thoughtfully compiled and add value.
Keep up to date with the latest technologies, methodologies and drive
consistent standards.
