Crynodeb
We are looking for a highly motivated person who can demonstrate a desire to provide excellent customer service. You will play an important role in providing a comprehensive range of welfare benefits advice and support to residents of South Hams District Council and West Devon Borough Council in order that they can maximise their income. This includes seeing residents on a face-to-face basis at either Council’s offices, other community venues or in their own homes.
It is expected that the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong desire to make sure our residents receive an excellent service.
As this is a full-time temporary appointment you will be expected to have a sound and proven working knowledge of Housing Benefit, Council Tax reduction and other welfare benefits as well as an excellent understanding of local services with the ability to identify and find solutions for any gaps in service provision.
This role will require a DBS check.
