AutosOnShow are the Digital Imaging specialists of BCA Group with an established track record of dominance in the automotive market in the UK with digital brands like Cinch. We know that the success of this ambitious growth phase depends on our ability to provide the best automotive video and imagery on the market, so if you’d like to be a part of this, we’re looking for a Product Owner (PO) to help shape that future.
AutosOnShow.TV was established in 2010 and is a successful global software development company providing video and imaging solutions to many clients across the automotive industry. Expanding into global markets, the business is going through a period of rapid growth and expansion and has won numerous awards for its video and imaging solutions including Microsoft Innovation of the Year Award and Retail Week Digital Excellence Award.
As an AI and Computer Vision Engineer you will constantly push the boundaries with what is technically possible when presenting and visualising all vehicle imagery we capture. AutosOnShow (AOS) are the digital imagery specialist within the BCA Group, and this role will play a crucial role within the AOS development team to ensure we continue to deliver the best-in-class products and services.
You’ll research, develop, evaluate and optimise various computer vision and deep learning models to solve complex problems. You will also explore and analyse unstructured data through image processing, as well as taking ownership to drive computer vision solutions and meet business and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
The AI and Computer Vision Engineer will challenge and optimise at every stage of development and look for increases in performance and quality when presenting any digital imagery.
If there’s an opportunity that will strategically benefit the business, then this will be actively reviewed and considered by the senior leadership team regularly.
They will be naturally curious, and aware of latest technologies and trends, to ensure that AOS continue to develop and produce the best-in-class products.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, that enjoys the challenge of not having a set goal, or defined limits.
They’ll work closely with the other Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)problem solvers within the business, and the wider group, to iteratively improve current practices, and seek new and exciting opportunities within the field.
The AI and Computer Vision Engineer will be accountable and responsible for all AI and ML capabilities within the AOS team and will act as a mentor to more junior team members.
Key Skills
At least 5 years of experience in deep learning for object detection and tracking along with semantic or instance segmentation in the academic or industrial domain.
Lead the design and development of novel computer vision and/or machine learning algorithms in areas such as: real-time scene and object tracking, reconstruction and understanding, as well as, segmentation, object tracking, body tracking, key point estimation, depth sensing, generative approaches such as GANs, 3D stereo and volumetric reconstruction reconstructions.
Develop novel computer vision formulations, models, and algorithms for a wide variety of tasks
Own the full development life cycle from data preparation to model deployment
Perform training of multi-task deep neural networks
Design and build data and evaluation pipelines
Engineer and ship high quality, reliable software that will be deployed to the real world
Collaborate with other ML team members to develop and continuously improve the full autonomy stack
Bachelors, MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning or related fields.
Understanding State of the Art Machine learning and Deep learning Models
Excellent understanding of OpenCV Image Processing techniques.
Experience in training models through GPU computing using NVIDIA CUDA or on AWS cloud.
Experience with implementing ML Flow
