The scheme runs for 26 weeks and is full time, 36 hours per week.

Museums and Archives - Digitising Project

  • Are you a Recent University Graduate (Class of 2022 or later)?
  • Are you currently unemployed or working in a job that doesn’t utilise your degree?
  • Do you live in West Lothian?

If you answered yes to these 3 questions then West Lothian Council’s Graduate Work Experience programme may be for you.

The programme aims to give recent graduates valuable work experience, including an understanding of how large complex and diverse organisations operate, providing you with development opportunities and the chance to undertake exciting research projects, enabling you to obtain valuable employment-based skills and experience to supplement your existing qualifications.

Opportunities are available in a variety of council services from Planning & Economic Development, Social Policy, Corporate Services &; Museum’s, for more information click on the attached links.
