Summary
Due to an increased workload we are looking for a Welder/ Fabricator to join our engineering business based in Stonebroom, Near Alfreton, Derbyshire, DE55 6LQ.
Ark Engineering are General Engineers/ Welder Fabricators working predominantly within the portable building industry manufacturing ancillary items for portable building eg, steps, staircases, raps, landing. We produce a standard range of products but also manufacture large bespoke items for customers and work on some extremely prestigious projects.
The successful candidate must have the ability to fabricate products from drawings, have excellent welding skills, a sound knowledge on the safe use of general plant and equipment within an engineering environment, along with the the ability to safely use hand tools.
Candidates must be able to work on their own using initiative and as part of a team, producing work to a high standard in a timely manner and take pride in their workmanship. The successful candidate must be reliable, have excellent time-keeping, be honest, hard working and be prepared to go the extra mile.
On site parking and free tea and coffee.
